|
This committee reviews design and construction of institutional
facilities in New York City, especially the work of the School Construction
Authority. Attention is also devoted to City University of New York,
New York State Dormitory Authority, private institutions like Columbia
University, healthcare and criminal justice construction. The Building
Congress provided strong support for the creation of the SCA and
is a strong backer of City initiatives to increase funding for institutional
rehabilitation and construction.
