The committee focuses on key energy issues in design, construction and real estate such as electric generating capacity, increasing energy consumption, conservation initiatives, and availability of capital for energy infrastructure investments. Participation includes chief executives from Con Edison and Keyspan as well as senior industry representatives. Recent meetings have focused on development of two consecutive Electricity Outlook research reports and efforts to reauthorize New York’s Article X generating plant site approval process.
