Richard T. Anderson recently celebrated his tenth anniversary as President of the New York Building Congress. To honor his decade of committed leadership, during which the organization has realized marked increases in membership, influence and service to the industry, Chairman Frank J. Sciame presented Anderson with a special Distinguished Service Award during the Building Congress Leadership Awards Luncheon
in May.

Of Anderson, Sciame said, “Dick has played a major role in strengthening the Building Congress and putting together the broadest coalition possible for this industry.”
The New York City Chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services also paid tribute to Anderson during its Eighth Annual SMPS-NY Honor Awards in June. The society recognized his role in encouraging, nurturing and contributing to the built environment of New York City and its surrounding environs.
