Building Congress Welcomes Frank Giallorenzo
The New York Building Congress recently named
Frank Giallorenzo to serve as Vice President,
Policies and Programs.
Mr. Giallorenzo assumes primary responsibility for identifying and tracking issues of importance to the membership and coordinating the activities of many
Building Congress committees. Specific areas of responsibility include: public policy analysis; outreach to and communication with other industry associations and organizations; coordination of Building Congress Political Action Committees; and assistance with
membership recruitment activities.
He comes to the Building Congress after nearly five years at NYC & Company, Inc., the City’s convention and visitors’ bureau, where he most recently served
as Associate Counsel. In this capacity he played key roles in both government relations and legal affairs, including vendor contracts, licensing, compliance
and intellectual properties.
Mr. Giallorenzo served as NYC & Co.’s liaison with the Mayor’s office, New York City Council and various City and State agencies.He also helped establish and maintain the Tourism Advocacy Coalition Political Action Committee.
Prior to NYC & Company, Mr. Giallorenzo worked in the Communications Department of the Giuliani administration and was a staff assistant for Senator Alfonse D’Amato. A graduate of S.U.N.Y College at Geneseo, he earned his law degree from New York Law School and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
