Transportation and Infrastructure
The Transportation and Infrastructure Committee will hold its next meeting on Monday, December 14 at the New York Building Congress, 44 West 28th Street, 12th Floor (between Broadway and 6th Avenue). The meeting will begin with lunch at 12:00 pm followed by the program at 12:30 pm.
The guest speaker will be Mark Hoffer, Director of New Port Initiatives, the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, who will give an update on the Port's Cross Harbor Freight Program. The Port is in the midst of major environmental and feasibility studies to determine a course of action to improve the movement of goods into New York City and Long Island.
