New York Institutions
Key to New York's ability to thrive as a global hub of business and culture is the continued presence of a range of institutions that serve the mind and body. Pillars of education, such as Columbia and New York University, not to mention the vast and improving City public school system, provide invaluable services as do healthcare institutions such as Memorial Sloan-Kettering and Mount Sinai. And our ever-improving cultural facilities remain the envy of the world.
Throughout this decade, these bedrock institutions have successfully pursued major renovation and expansion projects, each designed to accommodate the needs of a growing and eclectic metropolis. In doing so, they ensure that New York City will remain a magnet for the world's most creative minds.
